The best way to get to know us is to stop by our café. We opened in 2003 with the belief that a neighborhood café should be a mirror for the community, a platform for art and culture, and play a crucial role as a safe, welcoming space for anyone and everyone. In February 2017, we joined the Sanctuary Restaurant movement, officially announcing that there is a seat at our table for all.
Hundreds of folks from all walks of life gather together in our space every day for great coffee and great conversation. This intersection is inspiring and central to our mission:
