An integral part of our customer service team, the Account Manager will work with various new and existing wholesale customers (cafes, restaurants, stores, offices, etc.) to promote and develop existing Metropolis Coffee programs and cultivate opportunities for new business growth.
-Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with wholesale customers and their staff
-Serve as key point of contact for many of Metropolis’ wholesale customers
-Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers in order to implement solutions to help customers grow their coffee programs
-Represent Metropolis at customer events, samplings, and demos
-Work interdepartmentally within Metropolis to develop creative solutions to customer requests and concerns
-Forecast and track key performance indicators and prepare consistent reports on customer account status
-Work with sales and marketing teams to identify new wholesale customers and grow brand placement opportunities
-Create and maintain calendar of customer in-person visits
-Maintain Metropolis’ high customer service standards in every interaction
-2-3 years customer service experience, remote and in-person
-Experience with specialty coffee and/or café environments a plus
attitude with a service mentality
-Approachable and mindful communication style
-Strategic, organized, and consultative customer approach
-Passion for coffee, growing knowledge/skills, and willingness to be coached
-Must have a valid driver’s license
This is a full time position with a regular Monday-Friday schedule occasionally requiring additional hours/days dependent on business needs.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a base salary, paid time off, and partially-subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance.
