Due to the seasonality of the unique coffees it contains, we will be transitioning Mocha Java to a seasonal, wintertime offering effective immediately.
Over the years, we’ve struggled with how to maintain a fresh inventory of these very specific, irreplaceable components: a naturally processed Ethiopia and a Sumatra. Because fresh crops of these coffees typically come our way at the end of the year, by summer they can be not-so-fresh. And unlike our other blends that call for less specific components, in this case, we can’t substitute fresher coffees from other origins.
We know you’ll miss Mocha Java, but we know it also means it will taste all the more special when it returns next year: just as juicy, earthy, and rich as you remember. In the meantime, if you’re looking for another blend with a whole lot of character, check out Schweik’s Blend. It features East African coffees and a floral aroma, citric acidity, and buttery finish. And be sure to keep an eye on our single-origin menu, which offers a rotating selection of unique characteristics and bold flavors.
