Many years ago, we set out to name our holiday blend and it was super hard. Solstice Blend? No. Starry night? No? Reindeer poops? Definitely not, but kind of funny? We thought about our own holidays, and these serene notions of families in sweaters around a tree harmonizing...and well—we didn't relate at all. Our holidays are loud. We gamble with dice for quarters. There is singing, but we forget most of the words and we're waaaayyyyy off-key. The word Hullabaloo kind of sums it up. It means "commotion." And commotion—that feels more like it. Love and family are complicated. Let's dasher and prancer all the unrealistic ideas of the holidays and celebrate the real stuff instead.
