FINCA EL GUAYABAL Jesus’ father purchased this piece of land more than 30 years ago with the objective of making a life out of agriculture and growing different products. Before growing coffee, Jesus’ father used to have many Guaba trees on his land, hence the name, Finca El Guayabal. Jesus received Finca El Guayabal as an inheritance from his parents and focused, initially on growing and processing commercial coffee, but in 2019, he learned that specialty coffee could earn more money to better sustain his family. In 2020 he produced his first lots of specialty coffee and they are extremely proud of the result. This is our third year offering this gem and we hope that by purchasing it year after year, we can help Jesus and his family continue to thrive.
